Fred set to leave Old Trafford this summer?
The Super Lig champions are expected to come straight back with an improved offer as the race for the defensive midfielder begins. The Brazilian joined United in 2018 from Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk and under manager Erik Ten Hag, Fred has often been described as being in the best form of his career.
However, midfield additions including Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and summer signing Mason Mount have pushed Fred down the pecking order and the holding midfielder is believed to be keen on leaving Old Trafford this summer in the hope of gaining more first-team opportunities next season.
