Manchester United stars Eric Bailly and Alex Telles both failed to report to pre-season training on Saturday after being given an extended break due to international commitments.
Both stars are surplus to requirements at the Theatre of Dreams, and their decisions to not report for training has reportedly accelerated the club’s efforts to offload the defenders, according to the Mirror.
United hope to offload Eric Bailly and Alex Telles
Both Bailly and Telles were sent out on loan last term, and both now look set to depart the club on a permanent basis.
Ten Hag has no plans to integrate the players into his squad, meaning it’s likely that both will be left out of the traveling party to the United States later this week.
Both defenders only have 12 months left on their current deal. Bailly spent the 2022-23 campaign with Marseille, as he made 23 appearances. Meanwhile, Telles scored three times in 38 matches during his spell in La Liga with Sevilla.
