Newcastle will step up their pursuit of adding a new winger to their squad following rumors that Allan Saint-Maximin could be set to become the latest star to move to Saudi Arabia.
Eddie Howe is interested in a move for Leicester City’s Harvey Barnes, while the latest reports coming out of Italy have indicated that a club-record fee could be spent on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia attracting Newcastle interest
Kvaratskhelia is one of the hottest properties in European soccer after playing a key role in Napoli’s Serie A success last term.
The 22-year-old scored an impressive 12 goals, and added ten assists in 34 domestic matches, and scored twice in nine appearances in the Champions League.
However, Napoli are under no pressure to sell their star winger, and the reports at Corriere dello Sport have indicated that the club would only consider selling the Georgian if Newcastle pay over $100 million.
