Watford are reportedly interested in making a move for Newcastle’s Jamal Lewis this summer.
The Magpies could be willing to offload the 26-year-old, as they look to recoup money that they can then re-invest in the squad before beginning their Champions League campaign.
Jamal Lewis open to offers
Lewis featured rarely throughout the 2022-23 season, as he made just two Premier League appearances. Eddie Howe is willing to sanction a loan move for the defender, as he bids to bring in at least one further full-back this summer.
The Daily Mail is reporting that any switch to Watford will be a loan move, as Lewis looks for regular game time.
The full-back has played 36 times for Newcastle since joining the club from Norwich in 2020.
During his time with the Canaries, he played 92 times across the Championship and Premier League, and was part of the promotion-winning Norwich team in 2019.
