Aleksandar Mitrovic has threatened Fulham after claiming that he never wants to play for the Premier League club again.
The Cottagers have already rejected two offers from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, but the Serbian forward is keen to push through the transfer despite reluctantly joining Fulham’s pre-season tour.
Aleksandar Mitrovic angered by Fulham transfer stance
Mitrovic is reportedly fuming with his situation, and has demanded that the club lower their transfer fee. Sky Sports have claimed that the Cottagers are demanding nearly $60 million for their captain, which is likely to put off potential suitors.
The forward was tempted to ignore team orders and remain at home, but he backtracked after advice from the PFA and agent Pini Zahavi.
Mitrovic’s team is keen to press through a move to Saudi Arabia, and his representatives have urged Fulham to lower their asking price to between $40 and $50 million.
The Cottagers have already rejected two offers from Al Hilal, who have already signed Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly from the Premier League this summer.
