Manchester United’s central defender Eric Bailly has been left out of the club’s preseason tour of the United States.
The forgotten man at Old Trafford spent last season on loan at Marseille but the Ivorian failed to impress the French giants enough to turn the temporary move into a permanent one.
Eric Bailly left out of US tour
The news was reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who also confirmed fellow Reds Devils defender Alex Telles is set to seal a move away from The Theatre of Dreams worth approximately $5m to Al Nassr with the Brazilian earning $9m a year in the fast developing Pro League.

Telles has failed to make a real impact since joining from Porto in 2020 and has found himself now to be third fiddle at left-back behind England international Luke Shaw and last summer’s signing Tyrell Malacia from Ajax.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Sevilla but despite winning the Europa League, a permanent transfer back to La Liga was never expected to be in the offing.
