Premier League giants Arsenal are interesting in signing Orlando City winger Facundo Torres this summer.
The 23-year-old has impressed Gunners boss Mikel Arteta greatly since his arrival from Uruguayan side Penerol last year. According to MLS Transfers, Arsenal have already reached out once before in an attempt to sign The Lions winger last December during their quest for the Premier League title.
Facundo Torres set for Gunners switch?
The Uruguayan international is now believed to be back on the Gunners’ radar as they attempt to close the gap with last season’s eventual champions Manchester City. Spanish outfit Villarreal have also shown an interest in Torres with last year’s US Open Cup winner’s thought to prefer a move at the end of the calendar year.

Despite this, the Florida-based outfit are resigned to losing one of their star assets with Torres’ release clause valued at just $30m- a relative snip for a player of his quality in today’s market.
