Manchester United have made their first official offer to Atalanta for long-term striker target Rasmus Hojlund.
The Red Devils have made the Danish striker their first choice option throughout the summer, and Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to get the deal wrapped up quickly to avoid any other suitors coming forward.

The official bid from United was made on Wednesday, as the Red Devils opened talks with Atalanta with a verbal offer of $52 million, according to The Athletic.
However, the Italian club are still looking for the Red Devils to up their offer, as they placed an $85 million price tag on the 20-year-old.
United are looking to get the deal wrapped up quickly, as PSG have also shown an interest in the striker.
However, reports have claimed that Hojlund only has eyes for the Red Devils, and has rejected a higher wage offer from the Parisians in order to finalize his move to Old Trafford.
