Manchester City are in a race against time to complete the signing of Josko Gvardiol, as RB Leipzig have set a deadline that any move should be completed by.
Leipzig are still hopeful of keeping hold of the defender, and according to the Mail, the defender will remain with the Bundesliga club if a transfer to the Premier League champions isn’t completed by August 12.

Josko Gvardiol has been City’s top target throughout the summer, as Guardiola looks to improve on his treble winning defense.
The reigning European champions have already allowed a number of top stars to leave the club this summer, with both Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogen both departing. However, the club are yet to sign a first-team player after winning the Champions League.
