Chelsea look set to test PSG’s resolve when it comes to the long-term future of Kylian Mbappe this week.
The Blues are reportedly plotting a cash-plus-player move for the want-away Frenchman, according to Record. But, a move to Stamford Bridge could be unlikely as the forward wants Champions League soccer.
Chelsea plotting Kylian Mbappe move
The Blues have been encouraged to make their move for the 24-year-old after gaining confidence that a deal could be agreed.
PSG are reportedly looking to offload the forward this summer, as he has made it clear that he will not be signing a contract extension in the French capital.
However, Real Madrid remain the front-runners in the race to sign Mbappe, and will likely make their move for the star before the end of the summer window.
But, it remains unclear as to whether the Spanish giants can meet the financial package that the Parisians are expecting for their top star.
