Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguillon is reportedly close to a move to La Liga outfit Real Sociedad according to The Daily Mail.
New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is currently overseeing a clearout in North London this summer and has already let midfielder Harry Winks leave for Leicester City.
Sergio Reguillon linked with La Liga return
Reguillon spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid but injuries limited him to only two starts for Diego Simeone’s side. The 26-year-old has struggled to make a real impact at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but was included by Postecoglou in his squad for Spurs’ pre-season tour of Asia.
Champions League qualifiers Real Sociedad are looking to strengthen their squad as they embark on their first campaign in Europe’s premier competition for the first time in 10 years. The Royals bid farewell to former Spain and Manchester City great David Silva on Thursday after the 37-year-old announced his retirement from football with immediate effect after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligaments whilst in pre-season training earlier this month.
