Inter Milan have momentarily stopped discussions with Arsenal over the signing of Folarin Balogun after balking at the proposed transfer fee.
The cash-strapped Italian giants consider Balogun to be far too expensive after a $45m price tag was slapped on the USMNT star forward in June- despite failing to make a real impact at the Emirates Stadium.

The newly recruited US first-choice number nine made an exceptional impact on loan at French club Reims last season, scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1 alone. However, the Brooklyn-born talisman has already publicly stated he will not go out on loan again this season and is looking for a permanent resolution to his future.
According to Fabrizio Romano, this is unlikely to be at the Nerazzuri however, with Simeone Inzaghi’s men looking for a more affordable option to replace the outgoing duo of Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko. West Ham misfit Gianluca Scamacca has been suggested by many and Inter are set to make a second bid for the Italian international after their first was rejected.
