Man United set to continue summer spending
Personal terms have already been agreed with Hojlund- who is set to sign a five-year deal with the option of a further year at the English giants.
Due to his strength, speed, and aerial prowess, the Danish international has been compared to his Scandinavian compatriot Erling Haaland. Hojlund only joined Atalanta last summer but his development in Italy has been rapid and has impressed Erik Ten Hag enough to convince the Dutchman he is the perfect man to lead the line this season.
Ten Hag had wanted an experienced center forward to join the Red Devils this summer but exciting prospects such as Hojlund do not come along regularly. Hojlund will become United’s third big-name signing of the summer following the arrivals of Mason Mount and Andre Onana.
