Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has agreed a deal in principle to join Arsenal this summer after refusing to sign a new contract.
The 27-year-old is desperately wanted by Gunners boss Mikel Arteta as part of his summer overhaul which has already seen big-money stars Declan Rice and Kai Havertz move to the Emirates Stadium.

According to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, Bees boss Thomas Frank has been informed by his number one that he wants to leave the club and talks will now continue between the two clubs in order to prevent a long drawn-out saga. The move will likely mean that Brentford will go into the market for a keeper of their own with Mark Flekken and former Lazio shot-stopper Thomas Strakosha the club’s only remaining goalkeepers.
