Josko Gvardiol set for Man City switch
City and Leipzig remain in active talks to complete a move after the defender reached a verbal agreement with the Premier League champions over a week and a half ago.
It is believed that a percentage of the transfer fee will be received by Gvardiol’s former club Dinamo Zagreb whilst City continue to iron out the final details.
If all goes to plan, Gvardiol will have his medical at the club’s training facilities on Friday.
Gvardiol scored against City in a Champions League round of 16 tie for Leipzig in February in a 1-1 draw en route to the Blue’s historic treble-winning season.
