Manchester United will make an approach to sign Fiorentina defensive midfielder Sofyan Amrabat this summer after the Moroccan gave the move the green light.
Amrabat, 26, had been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli earlier this week but according to Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder only has eyes on a move to Old Trafford.
Amrabat has no doubts: he said yes to Manchester United, he wants the move since first talks in June despite rich Saudi bids 🔴🇲🇦
Understand he never said he’s “staying” or anything similar. Fake quotes.

Sofyan Amrabat still wants Old Trafford move
The move depends on the Red Devils finding a buyer for either Donny Van De Beek or Fred, however, with Erik Ten Hag’s men looking to sell before they buy after an expensive summer window which is set to continue following the imminent arrival of forward Rasmus Hojlund.
Amrabat, a star of last year’s World Cup, has not expressed his desire to stay in Florence despite rumors. The midfielder wants to taste Champions League football after losing the UEFA Conference League final with La Viola to West Ham United back in June.
