Saudi Arabia Pro League outfit Al Ahli are set to rival Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.
The 26-year-old Ivorian is the latest player to have been offered a lucrative contract to join the Pro League and Barca boss Xavi Hernandez is happy to let the midfielder leave after just one year at the Nou Camp.
Franck Kessie set for Saudi Arabia switch?
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Ahli switched their attention to Kessie after first-choice midfield target Sofyan Amrabat informed them he wanted to move to Manchester United this summer instead.

Despite not having the impact he desired after leaving AC Milan last summer, Kessie’s last-minute winner in El Clasico against Real Madrid- effectively sealing the Catalans’ first La Liga title in four years- will live long in the memory of most Barca fans.
The final decision is now up to Kessie with Romano also reporting that Italian giants Juventus have shown an interest in the Ivorian.
