Chelsea have agreed a fee with Brighton and Hove Albion for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez as Mauricio Pochettino’s summer remold continues.
The 25-year-old is thought to be desperate for a move to Stamford Bridge this summer after hearing of the Blues’ interest in his services last week.

The Blues have been targeting a new goalkeeper to create competition for Kepa Arrizabalaga as the club’s new number-one for next season after Edouard Mendy left for Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli in June.
The news is less bright for Chelsea in regards to their pursuit of Sanchez’s Brighton teammate Moises Caicedo, however, after it was revealed an $88m bid from an unnamed club- not thought to be the Stamford Bridge outfit- had been lodged yesterday for the Ecuadorean.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Sanchez’s arrival will mean 19-year-old USMNT goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina will be allowed to leave Chelsea on loan this summer.
