Everton have moved to the front of the queue in the race to sign Harry Maguire this summer.
The Toffees have stolen a march on Tottenham and West Ham, as Sean Dyche is willing to offer regular game time after losing a number of central defenders this summer.
Harry Maguire interested in Everton move
West Ham made their approach for Maguire a few weeks ago, but their low offer of $27 million was immediately knocked back by Manchester United.
However, Everton look set to make their first approach for the player over the coming days, according to Football Insider.
Dyche is ready to offer Maguire guaranteed playing time after losing central defenders Yerry Mina and Niels Nkounkou this summer.
United are willing to allow Maguire’s departure from the club for a cut-price fee, while the club are also willing to listen to loan offers. The former captain is keen for regular game time this season, as his place in the England squad ahead of the EUROs is under increasing threat.
