Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie has chosen a transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli over a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Kessie has given his word to the Saudi side ahead of a three-year deal. Al Ahli will have to fork out around $16.4m for the 26-year-old which will prove to be a handy profit for the Catalans after signing the Ivorian on a free transfer only last summer.

Franck Kessie set for Saudi Arabia
As reported yesterday, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez was all too happy to let Kessie leave the Nou Camp this summer after bringing in additional midfield reinforcements Ilkay Gundogan and Oriol Romeu.
Kessie has reportedly turned down approaches from Tottenham and Italian giants Juventus to become the latest player to earn a lucrative contract in the Pro League.
The former AC Milan ace will join up with former Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez, Allan Saint-Maximin, and ex-Liverpool star Roberto Firmino at The Royal as the Pro League season starts in just seven days’ time.
