Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest have today submitted an offer to Arsenal for USMNT goalkeeper Matt Turner.
The 29-year-old is on the lookout for more regular first-team opportunities to secure his place as USMNT’s number-one goalkeeper in next year’s FIFA World Cup on home soil.

Arsenal will wait to hear the outcome of their bid for Brentford’s number one David Raya with The Athletic’s David Ornstein expecting for the Bees to turn down the Gunners’ opening offer.
New Jersey-native Turner joined Arsenal last summer from New England Revolution but is yet to make a single Premier League appearance for the Gunners- largely due to the superb form shown by current number one Aaron Ramsdale.
It is yet to be seen if Ramsdale will keep his place as the Gunners’ number one should Raya’s transfer go through before the end of the transfer window with Mikel Arteta looking to add competition for places in all positions.
