Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara will not move to Sevilla this summer despite rumors linking him with the Europa League winners.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Thiago is totally focused on the Reds’ upcoming Premier League opener against Chelsea on Sunday.

Thiago Alcantara set for Anfield stay
The Spanish international, 32, is one of the few midfielders still remaining at Anfield from last season with Jurgen Klopp’s men saying goodbye to James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, club captain Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho this summer.
Klopp is still in the market for additions at the base of the midfield before the end of the window and has had two separate bids turned down for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia- who is also attracting interest from Chelsea.
It is likely that the departure of Fabinho will be the most costly to Klopp and with just six days left until a difficult-looking trip to Stamford Bridge, the German is likely to call upon youngster Stefan Bajcetic on Sunday to help protect the back four after impressing in pre-season.
