Tottenham Hotspur will announce the double signings of central defender Micky Van De Ven and striker Alejo Veliz later this week.
The pair signed their Spurs contracts earlier today according to Fabrizio Romano and were in attendance for the club’s 5-1 pre-season victory over Shakhtar Donetsk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Micky Van De Ven becomes a Lilywhite
Former Dutch under-21 international skipper Van De Ven has been brought in to sure up Ange Postecoglou’s leaky-looking Spurs defense which managed just 10 clean sheets last term.
The Wolfsburg star has impressed in the Bundesliga over the last two seasons and is likely to play alongside Argentinian World Cup winner Cristian Romero in Ange Postecoglou’s first-choice central defensive pairing after completing a $55m switch.
As for Veliz, Spurs are hoping the Argentinian forward will provide some long-awaited backup for star forward Harry Kane after a third bid worth $110m from Bayern Munich was rejected by the club earlier today. Veliz’s fee is in the region of $16m and the Argentinian is currently undergoing the first stage of his medical alongside Van De Ven today.
