USMNT number one goalkeeper Matt Turner will undergo a medical at Nottingham Forest today ahead of his prospective move from Arsenal.
Turner, 29, is set to become Forest’s number-one goalkeeper for the upcoming Premier League campaign with the Tricky Trees also continuing to negotiate with Manchester United over a season-long loan move for Dean Henderson.
Matt Turner set for Nottingham Forest switch
Henderson will provide competition for Turner who joined Arsenal from MLS outfit New England Revolution last summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, Forest manager Steve Cooper looks set to finally fill the void left by the departure of former PSG shot-stopper Keylor Navas whose short-term deal at the City Ground came to an end.

The fee for Turner is set to be just short of $9m and will become Forest’s fourth signing of the summer after completing moves for ex-Newcastle United center forward Chris Wood, right-back Ola Aina and forward Anthony Elanga from Manchester United.
