Premier League giants Arsenal have agreed a fee with Brentford for Spanish international goalkeeper David Raya.
The 27-year-old will be out of contract at the Bees next summer and has already informed manager Thomas Frank of his desire to leave the club earlier in the window.
David Raya set for Arsenal switch
According to Fabrizio Romano, Raya agreed personal terms with the Gunners last week and will now fight with Aaron Ramsdale for the number one jersey at the Emirates Stadium. Despite not playing for his country in almost a year, Raya picked up a UEFA Nations League winners medal this summer for being part of the squad which beat Croatia on penalties in the final in Rotterdam.
The move will also see USMNT star Matt Turner bid farewell to the Emirates Stadium with the American number one set to complete a permanent deal to Nottingham Forest later today.
