Premier League giants Chelsea have entered negotiations with Leeds United over the signing of USMNT captain Tyler Adams.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now actively working on a deal to secure Adams’ services with the Stars and Stripes’ skipper reportedly available for $25m.

Tyler Adams set for Stamford Bridge?
Unsurprisingly, Adams is reportedly very keen on a move to Chelsea this summer and the chance to work with highly-rated head coach Mauricio Pochettino. Personal terms are not thought to be a problem between the 24-year-old and the Blues whose summer spending spree is not looking like coming to an end anytime soon.
A move for Adams will not affect Chelsea’s pursuit of fellow defensive midfielder Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion. The 21-year-old is currently refusing to train with the Seagulls in an attempt to push through a move. At this stage, however, the Europa League qualifiers are refusing to budge from their $108m asking price for Caicedo- with talks set to continue this week.
