Ex-Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco has today been presented as a Real Betis player for the first time after signing as a free agent last month.
The 31-year-old was without a club after leaving Betis’ city rivals Sevilla at the end of last season and is set to link up with his former Malaga coach Manuel Pelligrini over a decade after they last worked together.
Isco signs for Real Betis
The Spanish international was presented to the world’s media alongside fellow new signings Marc Bartra, who returns to the club just a year after leaving for Turkish club Trabzonspor on a one-year deal, and center-half Chadi Riad, who has signed a season-long loan from Barcelona.

Of his move, Isco said, “I wanted to come here because of the project, the teammates and because everyone who leaves always wants to come back.” The Spaniard will wear his favored number 22 jersey at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in the famous Green and White stripes next season.
