Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has been offered a multi-million dollar deal to join Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
The 28-year-old saw his opportunities limited last season due to the emergence of Nathan Ake and summer signing Manuel Akanji, making only 12 Premier League appearances.
And the arrival of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig for a fee just under $99m will unlikely help matters with Laporte identifying this season as a crucial one if he is going to keep his place in the Spanish national team ahead of the European Championships next year.
Aymeric Laporte set for Saudi switch
Despite interest from Italian giants Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo’s side are interested in making a move for Laporte who will leave the Cityzens this summer according to Spanish journalist Aaron Dominguez.

With John Stones and Ruben Dias also at the club, Laporte will be City boss Pep Guardiola’s fall guy this summer despite remaining a huge fan of the Spanish international. In his five and a half years at the Etihad Stadium, Laporte has won 12 major honors including five Premier League titles and last season’s Champions League.
