Neymar set to join Lionel Messi Stateside?
The French champions and Neymar are currently working together to find the best possible solution with the Brazilian keen on the idea of a move to the MLS.
Neymar remains close friends with Inter Miami star Lionel Messi following their two years together in the French capital and has already been linked with a move to New York City FC earlier this summer.
According to Romano, former club Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the Brazilian in what would be a sensational return six years after leaving the Nou Camp. However, at this stage, President Joan Laporta is more sold on that idea than current Barca boss, and ex-teammate of Neymar’s, Xavi Hernandez.
Neymar remains the most expensive footballer in history following his $244m switch from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 but at 31 is now seeking a new challenge as he enters the latter stages of his career.
