Premier League outfit Everton have announced the signing of winger Jack Harrison from Leeds on a season-long loan according to the club’s official website.
The 26-year-old returns to the Premier League after suffering relegation for the first time in his career with the Whites last season.
Everton sign Jack Harrison on loan
Harrison, who played for MLS side New York City between 2016 and 2017 after moving to Massachusetts as a 14-year-old, found a home at Leeds United and scored 21 goals over three Premier League seasons at Elland Road.
Predominantly a left-footed winger cutting in from the right-hand side, Harrison’s dynamism and goal-scoring record should prove to be useful to Sean Dyche’s squad which ended last season as the Premier League’s second-lowest goalscorers with just 35 goals in 38 league matches.
Harrison becomes the Toffee’s fourth signing this season after the additions of former Manchester United player Ashley Young, Arnaut Danjuma, and striker Youssef Chermiti. He will now continue his rehabilitation from a minor hip injury after passing his medical examinations at the weekend ahead of his one-year deal which was signed this morning.
