Unlike as initially suggested, Neymar’s deal does not include an option of a third year which further solidifies the suggestion that the Brazilian is planning a return to European football in the summer of 2025 ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup- set to take place in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Neymar’s total salary could rise to an astonishing $400m based on performance relayed add-ons and commercial deals. The Brazilian will now join up with his new teammates in Riyadh which include Portuguese international midfielder Ruben Neves and former Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
