Manchester United are currently preparing an opening bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat as their summer remold continues to take shape.

Amrabat, 26, is one of the best holding midfielders in Serie A and it will take a considerable amount of money to sign the Moroccan in the last two weeks of the summer window with La Viola not under pressure to sell according to Italian news outlet La Nazione.

Meanwhile, Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag is looking to balance the books and is hoping to complete a deal that will see Donny Van De Beek leave the club on a season-long loan to Real Sociedad before making his approach for Amrabat.

A defensive midfielder by trade, Amrabat was a key factor in why Vincenzo Italiano’s men reached two cup finals last season and has already reportedly agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.
