Serie A champions Napoli have reached an agreement with Celta Vigo to sign highly-rated central midfielder Gabri Veiga.
The two clubs have agreed on a deal worth almost $40m for the Spanish under-21 international who scored an extremely impressive 11 league goals last season from midfield for struggling Celta.

Napoli have managed to keep most of their star players from last season’s Scudetto-winning campaign despite the departure of head coach Luciano Spalletti- who has been linked with the vacant Italian managerial job.
For Veiga, the move will mean Champions League football for the first time in his career this season. The Spaniard will be expected to continue showing his creative flare alongside attacking gems such as Hirving Lozano, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and last season’s top goalscorer in Serie A Victor Osimhen.
