Chelsea starlet Lewis Hall is currently undergoing a medical at Newcastle United ahead of a loan move with a mandatory buy option at the end of the season.
The unusual arrangement for the 18-year-old has been sorted in order for the Magpies to comply with the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play Regulations and will see the highly-rated youngster move on a permanent deal to St James’ Park on 1 July 2024 for $38m.

Hall is a boyhood Newcastle fan and has traveled to the North East of England to complete a dream move that could see him registered in time to be involved in his new side’s trip to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City tomorrow night.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has confirmed Hall will be the club’s last signing of the summer window which has already seen the squad bolstered by the arrivals of Sandro Tonali from AC Milan, Harvey Barnes from Leicester City, and Tino Livramento from Southampton.
