West Ham United have reportedly been impressed by Jesse Lingard over recent weeks, as the 30-year-old has been training with the Hammers to maintain his fitness levels.
The Hammers could be set to reward the former Manchester United star by offering Lingard a short-term deal at the club, according to Sky Sports.
Jesse Lingard open to West Ham talks
Lingard has been training with the Hammers throughout pre-season, as he looks to maintain his fitness levels before deciding on his next club.
The 30-year-old was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of the 2022-23 season after failing to score or register an assist in 17 Premier League matches at the City Ground.
Lingard enjoyed a fine loan spell at the Hammers in the second half of the 2020-21 season, as he scored nine goals and recorded four assists in 16 Premier League outings.
However, the former England international turned down a move to West Ham after running down his Manchester United contract last summer in favor of a move to Forest.
