Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Spanish under-19 international striker Samu Omorodion from Granada after the release clause in his contract was triggered.
The teenage center forward scored 18 goals for Granada’s reserve team last season and also scored for the club’s first team against Atleti last Monday in Los Colcheneros’ 3-1 win at the Civitas Metropolitano in their La Liga opener.
Samu Omorodion moves to Atleti on permanent deal
The club’s official social media platforms confirmed Omorodion has signed a five-year deal for Diego Simeone’s men and becomes a further attacking option this season alongside Antoine Griezmann, Alvaro Morata, Angel Correa, and Memphis Depay.
