Manchester City target Dani Olmo has stated he is happy to stay at Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig after an electrifying start to the season.
The 25-year-old scored a superb hattrick in Leipzig’s 3-0 German Super Cup final win against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier this month and has kicked on from the form he showed as a youngster for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
Dani Olmo set to stay at RB Leipzig
Speaking to German newspaper Bild, Olmo told reporters about the speculation linking him with a move to the reigning Champions League winners, “There is nothing. I’m fully focused on the task in Leipzig, the Bundesliga, the UCL, and the Cup. Man City are a big club – one of the biggest in the world. Josko Gvardiol went there but I’m happy here”.
Leipzig have already received a huge amount of money this summer on transfers following the high-profile departures of Dominik Szoboszlai, Christopher Nkunku, and Josko Gvardiol but Olmo is still content with life in Eastern Germany and will continue to play in the Champions League this season for the Red Bull-owned club.
