World Cup winner Rodrigo De Paul has rejected the opportunity to move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli.
De Paul, 29, is reportedly prepared to stay at Atleti and fight for his place at the Civitas Metropolitano after speaking to long-serving manager Diego Simeone last night.

As reported yesterday, Los Colcheneros were prepared to accept a $34.5m bid for De Paul who is enjoying the best years of his career so far. The Argentinian arrived in the Spanish capital two years ago from Italian side Udinese and is preparing for a third consecutive Champions League campaign which is set to commence next month.
According to Fabrizio Romano, after turning down their offer, Al Ahli are set to move on quickly to a new midfield target in an attempt to form a partnership with Franck Kessie who joined from Barcelona earlier this summer.
