Peretz will wear the number 18 shirt in his first season at the Allianz Arena and will compete with club captain Manuel Neuer for a first-team spot.
Speaking on the move, Peretz said, “It feels like a family here. My teammates are helping it feel like home for me. I feel very happy.”
In a press conference this morning, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen added, “The signing of Daniel Peretz is an investment for the future. He’s only 23 and that’s why we gave him a five-year deal.”
