Serie A champions Napoli are expected to rival Manchester United for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat as the summer window draws to an end.
According to MARCA, Amrabat is admired by new Napoli boss Rudi Gracia- who is determined to bring in another central midfielder after missing out at the last minute to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli for Spanish under-21 international Gabri Veiga.
Sofyan Amrabat wanted by Napoli
With Amrabat establishing himself as one of the best holding midfielders in Italy, it is little surprise Napoli are keen on the 27-year-old.
However, as the summer window nears its end, Fiorentina are likely to push Amrabat’s pricetag higher and higher. If they decide to sell, La Viola will have no time realistically to replace one of their best players and so a fee for the Moroccan star of last year’s World Cup is likely to exceed the $60m previously touted earlier this summer.
