Spanish champions Barcelona are set to complete the signing of Brazilian teenage striker Petterson Novaes from Flamengo.
According to Spanish reporter Toni Juanmarti, Novaes will join the Catalan giants on a season-long loan at the famous La Masia academy before his move is made permanent for $3.25m next summer.

Petterson Novaes set for Barcelona switch
Novaes has scored seven goals in 15 appearances for the Flamengo youth team this calendar year and can play on either side of a front three or as a central striker.
Known for his speed and finishing, Novaes has a big future ahead of him and is likely to be given first-team opportunities by head coach Xavi Hernandez next season after continuing to develop his game at arguably the most famous youth academy in the world.
