USMNT star striker Folarin Balogun is set to fly to the French Riviera today to undergo a medical and complete his permanent transfer to Monaco.
The 22-year-old hitman has been waiting all summer to find out about his long-term future and according to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners and the Monegasques have finally agreed an initial fee of $43.3m for Balogun’s services.

Folarin Balogun set for French Riviera
The deal will include a sell-on clause for Arsenal to profit in the future with Balogun expected to make a huge impact in Ligue 1 once more after scoring 21 league goals on loan at French side Reims last term.
Balogun will sign a five-year contract with the Monegasques after failing to make a matchday squad for the Gunners this season despite first-choice striker Gabriel Jesus’ minor knee injury.
Monaco initially had a $36m offer for Balogun turned down earlier this month but remained confident they could strike a deal before the end of the summer window.
