Chelsea have agreed a fee with Manchester City for young wide forward Cole Palmer after their second bid was accepted.
After rejecting the Blues’ first offer of $44.5m earlier today, City have reluctantly accepted a package worth a total of $57.2m for the England Under-21 international.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Palmer will undergo a medical in West London tomorrow before signing a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge with a move being pushed through quickly as the transfer deadline of Friday fast approaches.

Todd Boehly’s side will pay an initial figure of $50.9 up front to the reigning Premier League champions with a further $6.3m to be paid in performance-based add-ons.
The versatile winger, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, is a product of City’s academy and has made 19 appearances in the Premier League and a further 22 in additional competitions in sky blue.
