Liverpool star forward Mohamed Salah is edging closer to the Anfield exit door according to reports this morning.
As reported on Monday, the 31-year-old Egyptian star has been subject to a lucrative offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad, and according to Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, it is now more likely than ever that Salah will leave Liverpool this week.
The money offered to player AND club is just unbelievable.
The fact that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia closes 7th of September (as stated at Saudi – FA site – other places says even 20th) makes this also more complicated https://t.co/sjUDhfkX7F

Liverpool set to lose Mo Salah?
Liverpool have been offered $162m for Salah and according to Fjortoft, the fact that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia closes much later than the Premier League’s means that time is on Al Ittihad’s side to push through a shock move.
Salah currently has two years left on his current deal at Anfield and is already one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League. However, the astronomical numbers being quoted would see Salah paid comparably to Pro League stars such as Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo this season.
