Tottenham Hotspur are now in contact with Barcelona over the loan signing of Spanish international forward Ansu Fati.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Lilywhites are currently thrashing out a deal with the Catalan giants that would see Fati move to North London this season with just two days of the summer transfer window remaining.

Ansu Fati set to move to Spurs?
The Catalans are currently working desperately to fund a move for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix and the departure of Fati would significantly help their case. Barca are insistent that they want Spurs to play 100% of Fati’s wages whilst he is playing for the Premier League giants. However, as ever, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will prove to be a tough man to negotiate with.
Chelsea have also been offered the young star but have not made a formal approach for the 20-year-old.
The Barcelona number 10 broke onto the scene suddenly back in 2019 and became the Catalans’ youngest-ever La Liga goalscorer at the age of just 16 and 304 days during Barca’s 2-2 draw at Osasuna.
However, since then, Fati has suffered a serious knee injury which has hampered his short career so far and last season lost his regular place under head coach Xavi Hernandez as the Catalans picked up their first La Liga title since 2018-19.
