This means that the incoming Fati will immediately earn almost twice as much as any other player at last season’s Europa League qualifiers which could add to disharmony in the group if the youngster doesn’t immediately settle in the Premier League.
As documented by Sportrac, ex-Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is currently the Seagulls’ top earner on $114,000 a week. In comparison, club captain Lewis Dunk who has been at Brighton for 20 years this season, is currently paid just over $101,000 a week.
