Todd Boehly’s Chelsea are prepared to make their 12th signing of the summer after identifying Gabriel Moscardo as a key part of their long-term ambitions.
According to Brazilian reporter Bruno Andrade, the Blues have offered a total package worth $27.2m ($22.8m plus $4.4m in add-ons) for the 17-year-old sensation.

Gabriel Moscardo latest Brazilian wanted by Chelsea
Moscardo would become the third Brazilian teenager signed by the Blues this summer following the arrivals of 18-year-old forwards Deivid Washington and Angelo Gabriel, with 17-year-old central midfielder Moscardo seen by many to be the pick of the three.
A regular in the Corinthians first-team over the last two months, Moscardo’s star is shining brightly in Brazil. Any move would likely see the teenager stay on loan at Corinthians for at least another year as he continues to develop physically.
The $27.2m figure being quoted would make Moscardo a club record sale for the Brazilian outfit and the most expensive transfer fee to be forked out for a midfielder in the Brazilian Serie A.
