Former Liverpool and Barcelona creative midfielder Philippe Coutinho looks destined to leave Aston Villa before the transfer deadline of Friday night.
Coutinho, 31, suffered a nasty-looking injury during Villa’s 4-0 rout of Everton less than a fortnight ago- putting any potential transfer this summer in major doubt.
Philippe Coutinho set for La Liga switch?
The Brazilian international had looked destined for a move to the Saudi Pro League earlier this summer. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Coutinho has been offered moves to Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis and Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas this week.

The Villains, who are preparing for their Europa League Conference Play-Off Second Leg tonight against Scottish side Hibernian, are reportedly keen to get one of their highest earners in Coutinho off the books.
The final decision will be left up to the attacking midfielder who at the age of 31, will still feel he can play a major role at the highest level for a few more years.
