Manchester United have decided to go ahead and sign Tottenham full-back Sergio Reguillon on a season-long loan.
The Red Devils have turned their attention towards Reguillon and away from fellow Spaniard Marc Cucurella after complications arose over a deal to sign the Chelsea full-back.

According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, United have been granted permission by Spurs for the 26-year-old Spaniard to travel to Manchester and undergo a medical before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Reguillon has been deemed surplus to requirements by Spurs and had yet to feature under new head coach Ange Postecoglou this season.
The former Real Madrid and Sevilla star spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid and made only 12 appearances in all competitions before being sent back to North London by the Mattress Makers.
United are desperate for a new left-back after seeing Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia succumb to injuries over the last couple of weeks. Regular right-back Diogo Dalot operated at left-back in the Red Devils 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
