Manchester United are seriously considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Sergio Reguillon as their search for a new left-back continues.
The Red Devils were close to agreeing a deal to sign fellow left-back Marc Cucurella earlier today.
However, the Spanish international’s appearance last night for Chelsea in the Carabao Cup- Cucurella’s first of the season- means that should he return to his parent club in January he would no longer be able to exit and appear for a third club this season.
Sergio Reguillon set for Old Trafford?
Ten Hag’s second choice in the left-back slot remains Reguillon, with a deal for the 26-year-old remaining in play as stated by David Ornstein. Reguillon spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid, where he made only 12 appearances in all competitions for the Mattress Makers.

The former Real Madrid and Sevilla man is yet to appear at all for Spurs this season under new head coach Ange Postecoglou as he looks to restart a stuttering career.
